Reading/ELA
Team FERB continues a lesson on Close Reading. They are also talking about parts of speech. Mrs. Patterson and I will be co-teaching some ELA standards. So 6th grade will see Mrs. Patterson during this time.
Team PHINEAS has begun to watch parts of the Movie about Anne Frank.
Writing— Students are beginning to learn about main ideas and details. They will be writing their first major paper next week using the rubric that they have in their notebooks.
Social Studies
Students have begun to study the history of Europe to give them a background on the information that will be required for our Expedition Case Study. TEST Thursday over WWI.
We will start talking about what leads up to WWII, including the Russian Revolution.
They will have notes each day that they need to study each night (read over them for 10 mins). This will help when test time comes. I will be checking notes.
